Thammasat University (TU) is one of the leading and prestigious universities in Thailand, with the
consistent contribution to the country and global scale as well as the participation in the political
and social movement in Thailand. Thammasat also has one of
the highest competitive admission rate in Thailand along with
Chulalongkorn University. Applicants ranking within the top 10
national scores are chosen for study at Thammasat, especially in
Social Science and Humanities fields--considered as the most
selective in Thailand. QS awarded Thammasat University with 4
QS Stars. A 4 QS stars award means highly international,
demonstrating excellence in both research and teaching. The
institution provides an excellent environment for students and
faculty.
Offerings:
•
The program will be spread over a minimum of 5.5 years
•
The Bachelor’s degree will be awarded by TU, while the Master’s degree will be awarded by
AIT.
•
Both degrees will be awarded after fulfillment of all the requirements of each respective
degree.
Requirements for Bachelor’s Admissions:
•
Admissions to Bachelor’s programs are based on the standard competitive admission criteria
set by TU.
•
Applicants must have completed Grade 12 (Mattayom 6) in the Sciences-Math Program or
now study in Grade 12 in the Math-Science Program and are expected to fulfill all the
requirements for a high school certificate prior to entering the Programs.
•
Applicants graduating from an international school or abroad, must submit certificates of
high school completion, the equivalent to Mattayom 6 within the required period.
•
Standardized National Examination
Requirements for Masters’s Admissions:
•
English Requirement: AIT English Test 6.0 | IELTS 6.0
o
AIT English Test score of 5.0 & 5.5 (conditional admission)
•
Grade: Minimum CGPA of 2.75 on the scale of 4.0 or Grade B or 65%
•
Recommended / endorsed by TU
•
Transcripts / Grade Marks
Tuition Fees
•
TU will charge its own fees.
•
Bachelor’s Fees should be paid directly to TU in THB including the semesters when students
do an exchange research as a part of their co-op study. AIT will not collect any extra charge
during the exchange period.
•
Tuition fees for bachelor programs in TU will be as announced by each program for every
academic year.
•
Total AIT Fee is THB 540,000 (normal fee is 848,000) including bachelor capstone project
conducted in AIT
o
Students with good academic standing and English proficiency will be given additional
scholarships
